SIA Door Supervisor Training Courses

The Door Supervisor course is the perfect course to start your career in the Private Security Industry. The course prepares you to work in a huge variety of roles including: Retail Security, Door Supervision, Corporate Security and Event Security.

Security Guarding Course 

The Security Guard Course is required if you want to obtain the SIA Security Guarding Licence which allows you to work in the private security industry as a security officer. Security Officers can work in a wide variety of roles including static guarding, manned guarding and key holding.

Door Supervision Refresher Course 

The Level 2 Award for 'Upskilling a Door Supervisor Working within the Private Security Industry' is a mandatory qualification for those seeking to renew their SIA Door Supervisors Licence. This also applies to those who gained a Door Supervision qualification prior to June 2010 or whose qualification did not include the Physical Intervention module (this also applies to some qualifications awarded between June and September 2010).

First Aid at Work Training 

The course prepares you to provide treatment and handle emergency situations where an individual falls ill or injures themselves. As part of the training, you will also learn how to operate specialist equipment such as a defibrillator. 

SIA CCTV Operator Training Courses

The rise in the use of CCTV cameras means that there are lots of employment opportunities once you have a CCTV licence. This makes the CCTV Operative Training course the perfect course to start, or advance, your career in the Private Security Industry. 

Handcuff Training 

This Basic Handcuff Training Course is suitable for individuals who are expected to use handcuffs as a form of restraint as part of their operational role. The aim of the course is to give positive guidance to staff regarding the use of handcuffs and serve as a reference for staff in justifying the use of handcuffs both in terms of policy (who and why do we handcuff) and technique (how do we handcuff).

Advanced Physical Intervention Training

This physical intervention training course explores the six stages of managing aggression and challenging behaviour, from understanding the causes of and reducing challenging behaviour, de-escalating aggressive behaviour, physical and non-physical defensive strategies, guiding techniques and control & restraint /safer-holding techniques.

Conflict Management Training

The aim of conflict management training is to introduce practical conflict resolution techniques and strategies that managers and team leaders can effectively utilise when managing conflict in the workplace. It should build on previous training, skills and knowledge of effective performance management.
